Welcome to Sajjanpur is a Hindi comedy film directed by Shyam Benegal starring with Shreyas Talpade and Amrita Rao.

Story about a village where there is only one educated man who writes other letter and read other letters as well. His ability of writing make him extremely popular with the people of the village. Every one wants to use him no matter if it’s about election, women rights etc. But the cardinal highlighted point is that the film told about contemporary Indian village and makes people awareness of some serious issues, like marriage and others.

The film is a delightful satirical take on a contemporary Indian village. The film was originally titled Mahadev ka Sajjanpur.
