Sabina Yasmin is a well reputed Bangladeshi singer. Starting her career with Patriotic songs and later she was given opportunity in Movie as well. From her life she marred twice and off late she married summon chattpadhyay a Calcutta singer. Recently, she has been serious fallen ill and she went to the Singapore. She came back on 25th October by overcoming her disease. She has received the Shadhinota Puroshkar (The Freedom Award), the highest award in Bangladesh, in addition to the prestigious Ekushey Padak (The February 21 Medallion) and Jatiyo Cholochchitro Puroshkar (the National Film Award), which she has received ten times till now. In India, the Bengal Film Journalists' Association has also honored her with their Best Playback Singer Award.
