Bhoomi Is a calcutta's popluar band thatformed in 1999. Bhoomi means 'Earth' in Prakrit. They actually established with focuse on Folk music. They have a rural touch in their music and singing. The band used urban version of Baul music as well as old folk music that has been lost or many do not heard. They bring those song into the light. One of their main inspirations behind their music is everyday city life, which they experience and which is experienced by so many people everywhere. Their current line-up includes 6 band members - Soumitro Ray, Surajit Chatterjee, Sanjoy Mukherjee, Hemanta Goswami, Abhijeet Ghosh, Robin Lai.

They played both urban & rural audiences and even sometime they play to small crowds of village in front of paddy fields.

I listen sometime yes, they are really good. So guys listen their music you may like.

Shironamhin

Shironamhin is Bangladeshi Band established in 1996. From their Journey they had performed many stage program and participated in 'Star Search Competition' arranged by Benson & Hedges. They also performed inClassical, Bengali and English songs of own style.

Their style is the mixture of western and Bangla arena. They have different instrument specialist and also very much popular at traditional folk instruments like Bansuri, Dotara and Indian classical instrument like Sarod. Shironamhin has their own lyrics and its describe its quality and melody that moves manes heart. The band released two full albums and many mixed albums. Their debut album was Jahazi in the year of 2004.They made a good use of bengali instruments.

Shironamhin nominated as the best band in 2005 and 2006 by CJFB (Cultural Journalist Forum of Bangladesh.

Warfaze is a Bangladeshi hard rock band. They actually formed with heavy metal elements. They are known as the first metal band in Bangladesh that established in 5th june, 1984.

Kumar Sanu is an Indian singer born September 23, 1957 in Kolkata. In his era, he was one of the most influential and most favorite singer of all the music director.

Kumar Sanu's is classical trained by his father, he is a multi talented singer and tabla player. From his boyhood, he was inspired by Kishore kumar.

He got his first break in 1987 by Kalyanji-Anandji gave him chance to sing in the film Jaadugar. But his success come after 1990 with the film Aashiqui. All song is sung by him in this film and within a night his popularity increase tremendously. He broke a Guinness World Record by singing 28 songs in a single day in 1993. Mon mane na is Calcutta's Bangla romatic Film starring with Deb and Koel Mullick, directed by Sujit Guha and produced by Surindar Films. The music is composed by Music: Jeet Ganguly. The movie is the remake of Hindi film, "Pyar to hona hi tha" in 1998 starring with ajay devgon and kajol.

The movie begin in Darjeling. Rahul (Deb) is a thief who is travelling to Darjeeling to sell his treasure. On the way, He met Koel and they emotionally attached with each other and thereby they come close without knowing about it very much. This is out worn story, not very impressive but you may like it.
