John Denver was born in December 31, 1943 in Roswell, New Mexico. He was an American Country Music, folk singer, songwriter and rock musician. In the 1970’s, he was one of the renown figure who released 300 songs. He has also named as "The Poet for the Planet", "Mother Nature's Son" and "A Song's Best Friend". When he was 12 he used to play in local clubs. Later he adopted his surname Denver of one of his favorite state and at 1964 he moved up to Los angels, California after dropped his Engineering.
In 1969, he began his solo career and released 1st album “Rhymes and reasons”. Although it was not appreciated by all but he later start his next album “Poems”, “Prayers and Promises” which was success and reached two on the Billboard charts. In 1972, Denver scored his first Top Ten album with Rocky Mountain High, with its title track reaching the Top Ten in 1973. In the 1970s and 1980s He hosted 5 time Grammy awards. In 1975 Denver was awarded Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year. In 1994, he published his autobiography. In 1996, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. On October 12, 1997, He was killed at Pacific Grove and that was end of a wonderful artist.
