Black is a Bangladeshi rock band that formed in 1999 in Dhaka. They are 1st band that brings a revolution in rock singing as well as to show a substitute way of rock singing style. They are one of the most renowned band in Bangladesh. Their success comes within only couple of years in local as well as international arena.
Black got its first break in 2000 with Chharpotro and their first released single was Chena Dukkho. The song received tremendous response that eventually helped them to the way of success. Their 1st studio album released (Amar Pritibi) in 2001 and it was a huge success and became the best selling album to the entire country. In 2002 they released their 2nd album, Utshober Por. The album, has different sound though their was different controversy among the general public but later it was a huge hit.
Black’s former keyboard player Tahsan himself is a great singer specially his voice quality. Later he was so busy that he left the band and starts his own solo career.
