He belongs to a musical family, his father Ustad Barin Mazumder and Ila Mazumder are popular singer. He learnt his music from his parents. Besides, He is one of the chief members of Bangla band Dalchhut. He has released several albums and every albums of his was become big hits. He took so much time to release new album and it is his secret of success that he believes in quality work. Off late he married Chadni who is a TV actress.
