The string developed as an old-time music. its highlight on acoustic instruments or even sometime to the exclusion of vocals. In the very early of 19th-20th centuries, the different string instruments began to be added and that was essential to dance music. Instruments like guitar, mandolin, and double bass which provided chordal and bass line accesory. With a very short time, became known simply as a string band. Mississippi, the genre gave way to country music in the 1930s. During the same time, west of the Mississippi, Western musicians retained the acoustic style playing of the bands while the western dance bands materialize with strings. Strings popularity were wll formed in that era. Even this days, those singing is still prevaileing to everyone's leaps.
