Lovesongs is an English language film directed by Jayabrato Chatterjee starring with Om Puri, Mallika Sarabai, Rajit Kapoor, jaya Bachchan and Neil Bhoopalam. Jaya Bachchan plays a widow. Her grandson who is a law student in Bangalore comes to Kolkata for vacation. His interest and questioning about her past brings back her memories of the past, her love life and all the emotions associated with them.
