Carlos Augusto Santana born July 20, 1947 with 2 brothers and 4 sisters and his father was a mariachi violinist. He was a Mexican Rock guitarist and musician. At the age of 5 he used to play Violin. And at the age of 9 he became interested in the guitar. In the early 1960’s-1970’s he was one of the most influential musician for manes. He and with his band successfully combine rock, salsa and jazz fusion. The major trait of this band was melodic and guitar style which was the learning curve for manes.
He has been awarded with many reward like he had been featured like In 2002, The Game of Love went on to win the Grammy award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. Rolling Stone number 15 on their list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all Time in 2003. In August of 2003, Santana was named 15 on Rolling Stone magazine's List of the 100 greatest guitarists of all Time and in 2004, the magazine ranked him 15 on their list of the 100 greatest rock and Roll artists of all Time.
