Shreya Ghoshal is a Calcutta's Indian singer who born March 12, 1984 in a Bengali brahmin family and grew
up in Rawatbhata, Rajasthan. She is the leading playback singer in bollywood. She has most sweetest voice. She is versatile singer, Though she is bangla singer but she make her footstep in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
She won Sa re ga ma contest in her childhood. Actually it was beginning, later she went for training in classical Hindustan music. Her first debut came out of the Sanjay leela bhansali's film Devdas. After that within a couple of days she become the top singer in Bollywood. Now a days, she is concentrating to pursue MA in literature. Her voice is immensely God gifted, looks to me God make her voice with honey, so beautiful. She is the only playback singer to have been nominated in 4 out of the 5 nominations for the best playback singer for her songs in 2008 in IIFA.
