Wednesday tells the story of certain events between 2 and 6 p.m. on A Wednesday in Mumbai.
(Anupam Kher) Prakash Rathod is a Commissioner of Police. Once he got a call to release 4 militants in bia of information of terrorists attack in different parts of Mumbai.
From his first notion he thought it could be a fake call but his mind got clear when he finds bomb in police station. Now he groups up his team to search for the bomb and even he hired hacker to track the calls. But it test long patience nothing serious incident occur except in a Wednesday. Something different occur in that day.
A Wednesday offers you twist after twist, throws challenge after challenge in those 1.30 hours. Every performance in A Wednesday is charged. Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher were simply fantastic.
On the whole, A Wednesday is cinema at its best. A Wednesday works like magic because of its gripping plotline. And the culmination to this complex tale is what takes this film to dizzy heights.
In short, A Wednesday is amongst the finest –and bravest films to come out in 2008. For the first time the audience give a standing ovation to the film.
