Atif Aslam is a Pakistani Pop Singer born March 12, 1983 in Wazirabad and educated in Lahore and Rawalpindi. His singing career begins in a college canteen when he participates in singing competing on Independence Day. He won the competition and won millions of hurt.
After that he released his first album Jal Pari on 18th July 2004 by Sound Master and IC records. It was declared to be the best selling album of the year within just 5 months of the release. Nest his solo album was released Jalpari, shared certain tracks (such as "Aadat", "Wo Lamhey" and "Dil Harey"). Atif make his footprint in Bollywood films. Aadat, Who lamhey, Tum hi ho, Tere bin that remain in the top charts for several months. Besides he released new album Doorie and Merei Kahani which were biggest hits. He has been awarded by 2nd Jazz Indus Music award for best song, best composition and best lyrics of Aadat, Sahara sangeet award him for best debut playback singer. In 2007 best album of the year "Doorie" and in the same year best stylish musician by MTV Pakistan style awards.
